My journey into design

As an urban designer, I'm passionate about exploring the potential of public space and analyzing how it intersects with climate resilience, social equity, and user needs. My journey began with a desire to solve real-world problems with a design mindset, leading me to work in diverse locations such as China, Brazil, and various parts of the United States. I believe in working closely with communities to understand their concerns and implement locally-based solutions that truly make a difference.

Principles that guide my work

When I create a design, it's crucial to make it unique yet replicable. This requires a deep analysis of the special conditions of each site, while always keeping in mind the general ideas of balancing social, economic, and environmental needs. My goal is to craft designs that are both innovative and sustainable, contributing positively to the well-being of communities and the planet.

Beyond design: personal interests

Beyond the drawing board, I enjoy journaling about nature and birdwatching in my free time. These activities help me stay connected to the natural world, which often inspires my design work. City walking and trying new food are also cherished hobbies, offering fresh perspectives and enriching my understanding of diverse cultures and urban environments.
